It is played by dividing into teams. You give a scripture clue, and they work as a team. The first team to all find the scripture gets a point. They then give the teacher a number between 1 & 40. The teacher reads the item from the following list (or edit it to include items kids in your area might have with them or that might be present in your seminary room.)
All teams then race to see which team can put the item in a masking taped square on the floor (or table). The first team to do so gets a point. Any item placed in the square is out of play (for example, if they put in the whole back pack because there is a pencil in there, it remains there until the game is over, and the other items in there don’t count.)

(This sounds like a fun game, but I think that the “scavenger hunt” part of the game should also include a chance to use scripture mastery. I would give the person who found the item and places it in the box a chance to earn a bonus point if they are able to use that item as an object lesson or parable. “Repentance is like an eraser…” ~Jenny)
