My Little girl was asked to give a talk in Primary. The subject this year 2013 is "I am a Child of God." And each month has an outline to help target a different subject- this site is specifically designed for those who help teach and organize lessons, talks, and activities that pertain to Sharing time, and Primary.
Primary Sharing Time and here is the PDF file for the actual 2013 outline.
I went to page 4, week 2 outline to learn what they would be teaching during this week of Sharing time. This was great- because then I had a subject that I could follow... because honestly- sometimes it is harder to find a subject for a talk then writing the talk. So knowing that it was about the Fall of Adam, was a great place to start.

I then looked around in "PINTEREST" and in the Search box/boards I typed in "Primary Talks". This is where I found a few fun ideas. I saw one board/pin and clicked on it... it took me to fun site- I hadn't really gone there before but once or twice... but I found it was really helpful- infact I found talks too and rewrote it for my daughter so that she could relate to it better.
The site was: www.noboringlessons.com I went to the "Primary Talks" page- and found a list of what the primary Sharing times should be teaching- and a example talk that was really helpful. Because my little girl is just 4 yrs old I rewrote it to make it a little bit more "tailored" to her age.
By the time anyone else really needs this same talk, I am sure that it'll be a year or two down the road- but just in case... here it is.
When Adam and Eve lived in the Garden of Eden, (held up a picture of Adam and Eve) Heavenly Father commanded them to not eat fruit from the tree of knowledge of good and evil.
Adam and Eve were tempted by Satan and ate the fruit. Heavenly Father told Adam and Eve that they must leave the garden because they disobeyed or made the wrong choice.
All of Heavenly Father’s children can choose right or wrong. He promised us blessings when we choose the right.
Heavenly Father wants us to live with Him again. If we make bad choices, we need to repent, say sorry and do better.
We are responsible for our own actions. (at this point we found pictures in the ward library for her to hold up that represented the following):
• We can choose the right if mom asks us to do our chores- we should do it!
• We can choose the right by saying our prayers
• We can choose the right by keeping our rooms clean
• We can choose the right by reading our scriptures
• We can also choose the right by taking care of our bodies by eating healthy foods.
I hope that we can always choose the right, In the name of .....
My mom gave my brother's family and my family a collection of LDS pictures "GOSPEL ART BOOK" - this is a great resource. We have many time used this for primary talks, lessons and FHE. So if you need something- you have it at home and don't need to wait till you can get to the library. Here is a link to look at other things that will better help you teach or learn- or frame to display in your home... I hope that you enjoy it as much as I have.

I know that I am a child of God.

He loves me.

He sent me to earth.

He sent a Savior to help me return to Him.

He gave me a family to help me make wise choices.

He gave me friends to help me be happy.

He restored the gospel.

He taught us about temples so that we can receive great blessings.

I know that I am a Child of God because He has blessed me with so many things.

Gospel Topics:

Does your mom like to keep the house very clean? Does she make you take off your muddy shoes to come into her house?

Mothers like us to prepare ourselves to enter their homes. Heavenly Father wants us to prepare to live with Him again. I can prepare myself by choosing the right. I can treat my brothers or sisters kindly. I won’t cheat on tests at school. I will not use bad words. I will dress modestly. I will obey the Word of Wisdom. I will be baptized and repent of my sins.

Keeping the commandments is how I can prepare to live with Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ again.

Gospel Topics:

I believe that Jesus Christ will come to the earth again. This is a poem titled “When He Comes Again” by Mirla Greenwood Thayne.

I wonder, when he comes again,
Will I be ready there
To look upon his loving face
And join with him in prayer?
Each day I’ll try to do his will
And let my light so shine
That others seeing me may seek
For greater light divine.
Then, when that blessed day is here,
He’ll love me and he’ll say,
“You’ve served me well, my little child;
Come unto my arms to stay” .
I have faith that the Savior will come to earth again.

Many prophets foretold that Jesus Christ would come to earth. Adam, Enoch, Abraham, Noah, Moses, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Nephi, Lehi, Alma, Samuel the Lamanite, and many, many other prophets taught that Jesus Christ would come. In fact, all of the prophets testified of Christ.

3 Nephi 20:24 says “Verily I say unto you, yea, and all the prophets from Samuel and those that follow after, as many as have spoken, have testified of me.”
I believe the words of the prophets.

Gospel Topics: ,

Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? … For the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are (1 Cor. 3:16 – 17).
Our bodies are the temples of our spirits. Even though we choose what to do with them while we are here on earth, we must remember that they are sacred because Heavenly Father created them. President Gordon B. Hinckley said, “Our bodies … are the tabernacles of our spirits. He who is the Father of those spirits would have us build strength and virtue into these personal tabernacles.” …

President Boyd K. Packer, Acting President of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, said, “If you are well groomed and modestly dressed, you invite the companionship of the Spirit of our Father in Heaven and exercise a wholesome influence upon those around you. … Dress and groom to show the Lord that you know how precious your body is.”

Satan is jealous of everyone who has a body, because he cannot have one. He tempts us to ruin our body’s purity by wearing inappropriate clothing or taking harmful substances. He even tempts us to be ashamed of our bodies — -to think that they aren’t good enough, tall enough, strong enough, or pretty enough. If we follow the Spirit, we will be able to build “strength and virtue” into our bodies, and we won’t believe the devil’s lies about them. Heavenly Father is pleased with the earthly temples created for our spirits. We must show reverence for our bodies and treat them as holy temples.

My testimony is strengthened when I share the gospel. We can share our testimony in many ways. One way is by participating in Seminary when we get older.

Vika C. of Russia attends Seminary. She shares her testimony there. She says, … “I can share my thoughts and my testimony with others to strengthen my own and others’ faith. By reading the scriptures together and pondering on their spiritual content, we get closer to God and each other.”

Ksenia G. of Ukraine has seen similar results. She says, “When we share our experiences with each other, we become stronger and we understand the scriptures better. When we talk about examples from our lives during the lessons, I see the way the gospel works in my life and in the lives of others.”

I want to attend Seminary some day so that I can be prepared share the gospel with my friends and family.
