Items needed
- a pair of glasses with a strong reading prescription
Ask a young woman to put on the prescription glasses and read Isaiah 55:8-9. It should be blurry for her.
Isaiah 55:8-9
8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord.9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
Then ask the student to read the scripture without the glasses.
How does understanding that God's ways are higher than our ways help us see more clearly?
How can we use this information to keep an eternal perspective when we are faced with difficult times in life?
