Teachers of youth ages 11-18 in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints receive no specific training in classroom management techniques. Youth teachers without access to professional training express less confidence that they can handle discipline problems in the classroom compared to those LDS teachers who receive church-provided professional training (Smith, 2019).
