Effective Interventions for Preventing Unwanted Cellular Phone Use

Today I'm discussing what research shows are the most effective Interventions for Preventing Unwanted Cell Phone use in the LDS Classroom. I'm using data from my own (thus) unpublished survey of LDS Teaches and Berry and Westfall's 2015 study (citation below) for much of this report. Scroll down for a link to the Condie article cited in the training.

Again, this video runs about 40 minutes -- only got 20 minutes? Speed it up using the settings option in YouTube and listen at double speed.

Spoilers Below:

  1. Jenny,
Thank you for the video. This was helpful because we occasionally have students using cell phones in the classroom when it is not allowed. I have not always kept my cool and it gave me renewed reasons to do so.
